2. Scroll to the bottom of the page, click the button for the type of membership you would like to start, then click the Next button.  3. Fill in your email address and type in the characters that show up in the security image. If you can't make out the characters in the image, click the speaker button to hear the characters (make sure your audio is turned on), or click the recycle button to change the characters. Then click the Next button to move to the next page.  4. Type in your first name, last name, organization (if none, type none), phone, zip code and state. Then click the Next button.  5. If you want to pay by check, note the address for sending your dues. Review your personal information for correctness, then click the Confirm button.  6. If you want to pay online, click the Pay Online button to transfer to the PayPal website. If you are paying by check then you are done and may logout of the site.  NOTE: Steps 7a to 7c are for paying by PayPal or AffiniPay account. Steps 8a to 8c are for paying by credit or debit card. 7a. The page will open with options to pay by Paypal or to pay by debit or credit card. If paying by Paypal and if the Paypal login fields are not visible, then click on Pay with my Paypal account to display the login fields. Enter your email address and PayPal login password. Then click the Login button.  7b. Check that the payment information is correct, then click on one of the Pay Now buttons to process the payment.  7c. Wait while PayPal processes the payment. PayPal will then redirect you to the SLO NightWriters website, where it will indicate success of the transaction.  8a. To pay by debit or credit card, click on Pay with a debit or credit card, or PayPal Credit.  8b. Make sure Credit or Debit Card payment choice is selected, then fill in your credit card information. If your Billing Address or Contact Information is not correct for your credit card account, then click Change as needed to correct the data. Then click on Review and Continue to process the payment.  8c. Wait for PayPal to process the payment. Paypal will then transfer you back to the SLO NightWriters website, where a successful payment will be indicated, similar to Step 7c image. |
