San Luis Obispo NightWriters (“SLO NightWriters”) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. SLO NightWriters strives to advance quality writing, promote publication, and expand author recognition in a forum that nurtures a spirit of community.

This month, February 2026, SloNightwriters is having a short-form writing contest. Donate $5 here to enter. It is called 333/33 because there will be two winners: Prose, fiction or non-fiction (must be 333 words or less) or Poetry (must be 33 words or less). Your piece must include the word “green” somewhere in the text. Deadline 3/1/2026 midnight. Winners announced and read at the March general meeting.
